Sushi & Roll! Time for Sushi!
Filipino Fix at Little Ongpin
Today I had a dinner date with a friend of mine after work in Richmond. I picked her up from her place and as we sat there. Contemplating on where we wanted to eat in a city full of Asian food. We settled on Little Ongpin. Little Ongpin is a Filipino restaurant I had ate at once before with my co-workers.
I admit when we sat down and started to look at the menu, we were clueless as to what to order. I had to call in back up to figure out what is the best choice. In the end, we decided on Sinigang Na Tiyang Na Halibut, a medium sized, Pork Pata and a small bowl of garlic rice and java rice.
L'Oreal Mystery VoxBox Brand Revealed! Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser
Two weeks ago, I came home to a surprise package in the mail. I had been selected to receive a mystery VoxBox from Influenster which now turns out to be Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser!
What an amazing surprise. I really liked the smell that it gave off and since I normally use the brand already, I was more than happy to know that it was an affordable and reliable brand. This time they also included Strength Reconstructing Butter, which is suppose to strengthen the hair.
After a few uses now, I've already noticed I have less split ends, and considering how long my hair is.. there was quite a bit.
I've yet to try the butter yet, however I am dying to give it a go. I will post more on it in the future. I definitely think this product line is worth the price, which currently retails at an average of $5.99 each, which is REALLY affordable!

Family Day Weekend Fun Gone Wrong
This weekend in BC was a long weekend due to Family Day on Monday. While it was reported that there would be a snow storm approaching the lower mainland region over the weekend, A friend, my brother and I decided to hit the slopes. Having only gone once so far this season, I was eager to snowboard again before the end of the season.
We even made some new friends along the way. The guy we met was also Taiwanese and was in Canada to learn English. It was only his third time snowboarding, yet he managed to keep up with us. Soon after we parted ways, we decided to try the opposite side of the mountain. This side had the terrain park and jumps. Both my brother and my friend had helmets so they went down that side while I stayed on the safe side.
It was my brother's first time on the jumps and after seeing my friend take his first jump, he felt he was confident enough to take the next jump, which was a lot bigger than he anticipated. He ended wiping out on landing and hitting his head and hurting his back. That cut our day short as we spent the rest of the day heading down the mountain and going to the ER in North Vancouver. It was the first time something like this hit so close to home. We left the hospital a while after. Thank goodness nothing was serious and no X-Ray had to be taken.
In Times Of Despair
This was a video that a friend sent to me in my time of despair. I've watched this a handful of times now and it is just awe-inspiring.
I would just like to share this with all the ladies out there! Let it be a constant reminder that you are worth something!
I do not own this video.
You've Got Mail!
I don't usually get anything in the mail anymore because I'm on a "NO BUY" kick. I have long since cancelled all my beauty subscriptions in an attempt to dwindle down the many beauty products that I have.
** I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes **
