Once a Week for 52 Weeks

Its 2017! What better way to start the year than to set something new for myself. For this year, I decided to do something that my friend. I am going to TRY and do something new each week for the year. That means 52 weeks of doing something I've never done before.

For the first week (last week) in 2017, one of the biggest and newest things that I've done, (it's on my bucketlist!) is that I put down a deposit for a home! My own place! I couldn't be more excited. Its a two bedroom and two bathroom condo that has a open concept living area. 1049 sqft that includes the balcony and 2 parking stalls. The only downside to it is that it won't be built until 2019. Until then, more time to save up.

Ringing in the New Year

It has been a while. Happy New Year! I'm sorry for being MIA, but with so much going on, there was little time to put towards blogging.

The past year has been full of change of adventure. New jobs ranging from property management to my old job in Richmond, helping them move locations then finally a job in which I hope will be my last change in a while, injury adjuster at an insurance company.

Travel saw me go to new places like Bali, Malaysia, and old places like Singapore, California and Toronto.

Blessings took off and while it's still a slow start, I can see great things developing.

Hope that in this new year, I can get in a lot more travel, hiking and adventure.

Care to join me?

L'Oreal Revitalift Bright Reveal

I recently got selected by Influenster to try out a brightening line by L'Oreal. At first I was sceptical because I've always heard subpar things about L'Oreal. This would be my first time actually trying their skin care line.

After trying the entire line for a week, I was pleasantly surprised. First of all, the scent is not very strong, which is what I like. I don't like the scent to be overbearing. It had a nice citrousy smell which was refreshing. Each of the applications were easy to use.

I was intrigued with the overnight moisturizer. While it pumped out inconsistently at times, I love the design to incorporate the serum and moisturizer.

My favorite product was the peeling pad. It was really easy to use and fast. I'm all about the efficiency. Which is why I liked it so much

My least favorite was the daily lotion. I found it to be slightly greasy when applied. I have tried other products that are less so. However the upside is it has spf 30. I feel with the other products giving the same results, this was one product I could do without.

The scrub was nice to use too. I loved the texture and the scent. I used it 2 or 3 times a week and by the end of the week you could really tell that my skin was smoother and brighter.
